I've been playing ME:A for quite a while, 29Hours so far in the game.
I've just flew into the Zone were the Asari Ark was and started to scan the planets then my PC entirely rebooted. No warning and no error log.
Ok I thought, annoying but lets try again. SAme planet and PC Reboots.
I did a quick google and saw people had issues back in April but nothing recent or specific.
I decided to skip planet scanning on my 3rd try and just try and start Cora's mission, it got about half way through the dialogue in the tempest then rebooted again.
Very very frustrating as the game has worked for 29 hours perfectly until this point.
I'm running an EVGA 1080TI, ASUS Z270 Hero, i7 7700k
HAven't had this issue with any other game or with VR, and had been playing ME:A for hours.
Try changing the settings in Windows to NOT automatically reboot on BSOD. That way you can see the error message.
Also post a DxDiag (see the How to get an answer sticky).
Lets hope as you have got an EVGA card that it is not the same as this?
My DXDIAG is here;
Apologies missed the sticky, So far I have
Split the Power Cables on the PSU (so not all feeding from the same rail)
Updated all drivers
Ran Repair of the game
I had previous set the BSOD to show up on crashes and I am getting literately nothing at all, and the error log only shows the error for the system unexpectedly being restarted.
It is literately as though someone has pulled the power on me.
You have several crashes with your Corsair software CUE.exe and CorsairLink4.Service.exe I would look into that.
You also have a couple crashes with CAM which is known to give problems. I would suggest you try uninstalling this.
So uninstalled those.
Loaded in, but flew to a different star system first. scanned some planets, flew over to Voeld and landed and ran around for 5 mins.
Go back, had over to where the Asari Ark is again, and bam, first planet causes it to fall over. Load in again without CAM etc and try to just start the Asari Ark mission and again falls over.
