Lost Security Key

I am trying to access my account which I haven't played for long time and I have lost my security key fob.  Is the only way I can get help from EA to call their 800 number?  Is there not ticket system I can use to contact support directly?

You can actually use the swtor.com website to remove the existing security key from your account to add a new one such as  the mobile app.

Go to swtor.com, go to Login, fill in the Display Name and Password fields but leave the Security Key field blank and then click Login.

It will take you to another screen to ask you for your security key.  Below the field there should be a link "Lost your security key?" that you can click on and then follow the steps to receive a onetime password via email to remove the security key.

Once removed you can then add a new one from the mobile app if you wish.

If you get stuck or have any issues with this then yes you will need to call Customer Service to have them manually remove the security key.  For security purposes they only assist with account related inquires such as this via phone.  Once they authenticate your account, they will be able to remove it.

Using skype with that contact is a free call to the best of my knowledge, that number is only available as per the hours listed (Support available from 9.00 CT - 21.00 CT) so need to confirm time zone etc.

Hey 

Decided to jump back in but I cant find my security fob and when I try logging in it will not allow me to show I lost the fob. I enter my Display name an PW but I just get a login failed.

any advice?

If you get login failed generally it indicates an issue with the password if your leaving the key blank, if resetting the linked ea/origin account password doesnt help to get the key prompt then yo uare best to call swtor CS (link)
