Logitech G560 Sound Distorted/Low Quality

Hi all,

I recently changed my speaker set-up from the 5.1 Logitech Z5500 to the G560 2.1 system. The Z5500 worked well and didn't notice any sound quality issues. With my new speakers, the sound sounds awful during louder moments like it's distorted and very low quality. An example of a moment would be when using the JK buff or the JK vigilant thrust ability. 

I've got the DTS-X Surround option turned on with simple equaliser options on for just bass/treble adjustments.        

If anyone can help remedy this, it'd be great :D
