Loan Players-Big Buff expired, shouldn't be [ Edited ]

Hello, I'm very sad to say my loan buff player is expired but it shows I have ~1 day and 18 hours left (please see attached pictures). I've spent a few hundred thousand coins and it shows only 8 hours left and I'm afraid to finish the set as it shows expired. Please help, this is the first time I've tried to get a player, also see screenshot from facebook saying the servers might have impacted this.

I missed out on the CPU gatorade challenges with the server being down for multiple hours yesterday. All those hours and collectibles useless now since the challenge ended while the server was down.
