Latest update breaks game through Wine Linux compatibility layer

It would really be nice to see this game be able to work on Linux. I doubt EAC will get changed though as it's now been bought by Epic, which sucks.

I'm getting haggled by my Windows friends to play with them. No dice on Ubuntu 18.10 with WINE.

I do not know what should I say, but why the sudden pull of the decision of breaking WINE from EAC. Whether it is EA, or others who decided to pull the plug, I think the Linux Players deserve to get some answers to this.

Yes; as far as I'm aware, this is still an issue.

Yes. without anticheat previously worked in the game normally. now he's blocking the entrance. which is sad.

I currently play this game on PS4. I would love to be able to play it on my PC as well, but I can't until Linux support is working as that is the only OS I run on my desktop.
