Lagging out of games while winning

It’s happened to me about three or four times this week that I’d go down the ice after an opening face off and score then my opponent will pause the game then I’ll lag out and get a loss. I’m not sure if this is some glitch but I’ve lost a few games by it and it’s just annoying. Any possible thoughts?

It's happening to my league also. We won 6 straight and none of them counted. We had three midgames not count Then it only accepted our overtime loss and regulation loss which makes no sense. Our league is Soo pissed since Saturday.
