This happens with every play mode (not so intense in Starfighter Assault).
The lag is so severe I can't even play.
I dunno the reason, since I play quite current games with the graphic settings as Ultra and they run 10/10. Yesterday I was playing AC-Origins with top graphic settings and it went smooth.
This is my PC:
Intel Core i-5-4440
8GB RAM
Windows 10 64bits
AMD Radeon R9 200 Series Adrenalina
If I am the responsable I would say the problem would be solved increasing the RAM to 16GB, but I'm not really sure.
Any clue or advice.

That's a series. Could you post the exact model of that graphics card?
Increasing RAM won't fix the issue. Despite the system requirements of many newer games, 8GB is still sufficient for modern gaming.
I think the processor is below the requirements, but the graphics card is a much more vital component.

Thanks a lot Fred!
I tried to figure out the exact model, but I can't find it in the Radeon tool.
I'll try to take a look inside the PC tower.

I edited my previous post a couple of times. Now that I think of it, all Radeons in the R9 200 series should be faster than the required HD 7850.
The best way to post specs is in the form of a dxdiag report: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/

I think that even with an R9 270X you should be able play the game reasonably well. What are your graphics settings at the moment? Is it playable at the absolute lowest settings and a very low screen resolution? Could you monitor the exact framerate while playing? You can view the framerate by pressing the key above tab, typing perfoverlay.drawfps 1 in the console, then hitting enter.

Thanks again,
I got it at low in every field (if I set it as Auto everything goes to high). All effects are off.
Testing in Arcade the medias seem to be:
cpu 120/8
sim 19/47
gpu 290/3.3
mp/s 240

I´ve got 16GB installed and got the same problems as you with 8GB.

Any suggestion?

As a TCP/IP specialist, I can concur that EA developers added network protocols into their coding with Patch 1.2 My packet capture lit up like a christmas tree with Galactic Assault and Straighter Assault. These two modes were captured with Wireshark using a macbook on a 30-50mbps network channel.
Yes, this is fast, and difficult to check out the entire capture but here is a short video of both galactic assault https://youtu.be/ngvKn250_ng and starfighter assault https://youtu.be/TJnHE04hLyU
