Kill Leader and Double Duty badge glitch and don't unlock

I was champion and kill leader in a match with 5 kills. Somehow, someone else in the lobby then got Kill Leader even though they only had 4 kills. I killed him, but he was part of the last squad so when we wiped them I didn't get kill leader and because of that I wasn't awarded the Double Duty badge. Can you address this? It's incredibly irritating as I've been working towards Double Duty for some time now, and Kill Leader seems to get assigned to people basically at random.

Are you sure that you got 5 kills and that none were revived @EethenXBOX?

On what platform did this occur?

Hello I am having the same problem the double duty badge is glitched for me as well I just got the kill leader an champion an I recorded it an it still has me as kill leader an champion with mirage
