Hi,
My PC is a big case that runs most AAA games at high or ultra settings. Never had a problem with it before,
but now I've noticed more heat buildup than normal when playing Battlefront 2.
Anyone else has this problem - I mean my fan speed is running high when playing Battlefront 2.
With Battlefield 1 for example my system is running silent the temps are good.
Ryzen 7 1800 watercooled
32gigs RAM
1070 AMP extreme Zotac
GeForce Game ready driver 390.77 is installed
I run the game at 3840 x 1600 same as BF1 but with Battlefront 2 my pc turns into chopper or something.
I already turned off under graphic settings
film grain
dx12 off since it starts to stutter when gaming
detail levels are at mid.
By the way I played the SW BF2 beta release too and I did not had this experience with the beta version
Any ideas maybe?
Thanks!

By the way directx 12 was turned off while this high load is happening
switching over to dx12 -> then it seems to be quieter but you have the stutter instead ....so I did not test it further.
Anyway I just have tested this one now... but still heating up my hardware like it would be crypto mining
is unwarranted. Anyway the beta version worked good.
Hi,
Sorry to come along with this - I was not able to find it in the list of issues.
Is this issue maybe already forwarded?
Thanks for your answer.

Okay about this high load on gpu + cpu and with this the high voltage etc.
and the heat created ... I did went through some graphic settings
and it made no significant changes. I would say nothing.
But the solution for it was to limit the fps to 60 on my pc when playing this game.
I use afterburner and I set this limitation up on riva stats.
Now the temps are good again... but this is just a workaround.
Whatever you guys are doing you should solve this with prio!
Instead of burning our hardware...
I mean who cares if card can´t be assigned to a hero ... that would be secondary priority..
But creating this type of load ... that is significant.
