★★★ Newbie

For some reason when I’m in a game it says I’m in a Xbox live party but I’m not, so my audio is lowered because of it I don’t know why and I can’t even hear randoms anybody else have this issue or know how to fix it?

I see other players in party maybe they are in a party chat... I don't know.
I don't see myself in party.
My mic is working.

Also a new bug is when you can hear your teammates but the mic indication doesn't change so you don't know who's talking.

@SpyrosFPS I know that it means you’re in a party but it says I’m in one despite not being in one

My friend is in the Xbox insider program and he has latest xbox update and he has the same problem. It seems like he's always in party chat and i can't hear him.
We can only communicate if we create a party chat.
I'm not in the program and my mic is working, i don't see myself in party.
I guess something's wrong with the latest xbox insider update.
Are you in the program too?

I am having the same issue. I thought it may have been my headset so I grabbed a new one and it is giving the same issue. I cannot figure out how to fix it and you are the first post I came across with the same exact issue. This is super frustrating
