Is it possible to play NFS on PS4 without having internet (network) access?

I recently bought a PS4 without PS network access (it is not working at all) and I am interested in buying NFS.

However I am not sure if it possible to play NFS without internet access.

Please help!

@momoschu Hey, Need for Speed 2015 is an online game, you'll need a connection to be able to play.

Perhaps you'll want to try NFS Rivals instead, that can be played offline.

why wasn't the game with an option to play online or not? By having an offline campaign or something.

I just bought NFS on PS4, im unable to play because of the internet. are you sure NFS Rivals can play offline?
