I'm from Asia and I get matches in NA with 200+ ping

There's been a few people on Steam, Reddit and Discord experiencing this. Mostly from Asia and Australia.

Hey Rocket Arena Community 

Two things we're working on right now:
1: Dramatically improve ping times by adjusting MM rules.
2: Widen rank rules more over time to enable ranked players to continue to get matches.

We'll keep you posted as these changes roll out.

We also updated Matchmaking times, you should se improvements!

Yes, I am having this issue too. Everyone is having problems with connecting to different server regions. There is no region select option so myself and my friend keep playing on na and eu servers even though we are from oce. Even in the rocket arena discord, eu players are complaining about playing on na servers.

I am from Australia and have not had a solid connection since launch.

Every shot has a delay and even the jumping mechanic is failing due to the high ping.

Is there any way we can choose OCE servers or are there even any active??

For a $40 game this should be sorted day 1!!!

I’m having this problem. Xbox one x - Australia. Some games are so so bad. I was hoping for cross platform, not cross country

Playing from Perth, WA, Origin.

Across about 12 matches, I can definitely confirm the last 12 were overseas. in the middle of the Australian Peak time. (200+ ping)
