I had massive Bf1 lag, will BFV also lag (PS4)

I have BF1 on my ps4, and I would always have constant lag that would basically make the game unplayable. Which was a shame cause I really like it. So my question is, if I purchase BFV will I experience the same kind of lag, as they are both EA online games, and I dont have lag when playing other online games such as GTA5, For Honor, ESO.

I know playing Battlefield with lag isn't a fun experience and there are ways we can help minimize that. There are other factors that could be in play too, like if you're playing in a server outside of your region.

If you're experiencing lag in BF or any EA games, try these steps:

Reboot the Network

1. Unplug the modem/router power for about 5 minutes to refresh the network. A fresh connection can help clear up most basic connectivity issues.

Port Forwarding

1. This helps improve connectivity to our servers by opening up gateways that might be closed off in your router's settings by default.

PS4:

Power Cycle

1. Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
2. Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game.
