I have a Logitech G29 console but need for speed payback support I can not use it though. It does not appear on the controls. Why is that?

Support for specific steering wheels needs to be added by the developer. I know NFS Payback didn't have wheel support at launch, I don't know what the situation is now since I don't have a steering wheel.
