I changed my EA id on the website, but it doesn't show in NFS

I've tried changing my name on the EA website, and it says it changed, but when I play NFS, it still shows my old username. It says my name has been changed on EA play as well, just not in any games. I've followed the correct directions from what I've seen on EA help and other sources (Going to EA account and billing settings, going on About Me tab, and editing my Basic Information ID). I've tried looking at other EA posts, but no has seemed to have found a fix, pls help.
