I cant' use anyone's ref link bundle to get the content i im a preferred player

i can still only use 2 crew skills when i wanna use a ref link it says im not allowed not eligible

My understanding of referral links is it can only be used by new accounts created through using a referral, or someone that has previously subscribed and been unsubscribed for 90 days.

So if you became preferred by say buying some cartel coins this would not make you eligible for using the referral link for example.
