I cannot retire sims, & season banner won’t go away

I had to uninstall my Sims Mobile app on my iPhone XR after encountering memory issues. When I reinstalled it, the Sims Festival Tutorial randomly appears and starts to tell me to tap on the Sim Festival button. I also cannot retire any of my sims, and I have one glitches out retired sim, stuck in one place in a treasure hunt outfit. I tried to uninstall and reinstall again to resolve the issue remains. I tried to seek help through EA Help and the email I got was not helpful because they only told me to go through the trouble shoot list which I tried but still did not remove the issue. My iOS is updated to the latest iOS 15.1. The game says there are no updates available. What do I do?
