I can't play multiplayer on Xbox

Have all connections right but when I click multiplayer in the portal thing it says I don't have permissions to access online features I have Xbox live to but do I have to complete anything for it to unlock

Your account is linked to an Origin account?

Xbox live status  says it's active?

Try signing out of your Xbox Live account and resign in.
