I can't add a friend because

I play on xbox s and I can't add a friend (pS5) because when I try, there are a mensage saying "request already send" or something like that. So, I told that to my friend and he say me exactly the same thing, when he tried to add me. Need some help here.

@ruben1260 I assume cross play is active on your console also? Do you get the notification that you got a friend request?
