How to access EA login through the xbox version of APEX Legends?

I am trying to connect my Xbox account to my EA account, and all the forums say to login by booting up the EA specified game. But when I open APEX even for the first time it did not send me to an EA login screen. It just started the game.

Figured this mess out.

Use this link to login to ea though your xbox account. (If the link does not take you to a sign in page look at the top right your probably signed in to an ea account already just Log out at the top right then go to login at the top or use the link again and chose to sign in via xbox live or psn.)

Once your signed in go to this link and scroll down to linked accounts to make sure it is connected to your xbox live account. (Just to double check because why not.)

Also If there is a different account linked to your twitch prime use this link to disconnect your ea account from your twitch prime. Scroll down to "Electronic Arts" under "Other Connections" and click "Disconnect". (If you don't know if its a different account or not just disconnect it and connect the correct one using the next link)

Then go to this link to connect your ea account to your twitch account and get the loot. (You're gonna need to know the email address and password for the account from the first link when you sign in with xbox live.)

Me too, but I’m on PS4 and I did get the message but now after playing the game awhile I want to get the twitch prime and I can’t without linking my ea acount, and I don’t see a way to link them.

EA created a great game but they are still terrible. No way to log in that I have found.

Exactly this is annoying I did all that not even to get it but everybody in pc get n it

Doesn't matter. Still can't get the skin. It says to link your EA account and we can't.

I can't access it, but I saw a dude in the game with the skin equipped, dunno how to get it though.

I didn’t connect them but if you look on items you have the skin you just don’t get an alert
