How exactly do reports work for hacking/cheating?

Note: I'm not banned or worried I'm about to or anything like that. But I'm sure a lot of people might wonder about this sometimes.

Sorry if this can't be disclosed but how does it exactly work? I know EAC bans anyone it detects has a software/malicious program installed, but what about reports in itself? Not the video reports of sending an actual video of the hacker, but the in-game reports - particularly if there are too many of them or whatever? Does the account get "banned" just by too many reports in a short time or it's put on a watch-list or something?
