Home one seize the advantage not removing debuffs rom Bigg's X-wing

When I attempt to remove debuffs from Biggs's ship with Home One's Seize the Advantage as he is taunting it does not remove any of them. It does grant advantage to Biggs. I have tried using it on other ships and it does remove debuffs. So I have no idea what is going on.
