Heroes Vs Villains lobby waiting times...

So I was just in the lobby of a H/V game, there were 8 players waiting for over 2 minutes before the "1 player needed" disappeared and the game counter started...

What gives?

Had that a couple of times as well, for me it happened since patch 1.2
