Help! my games crashes!

★ Novice

Good day, im having an issue related to the game crashing after some time playing, it could be after playing for some minutes or after a couple of hours, i run BFV from a SSD but i don't think it is related, i also installed another stick of ram last week, it caused some issues but seems like it is all sorted out.

I must say that this didn't happened before i installed the new hardware.

Like i said before, the crashes dont really affect my gaming experience much but this doesn't happen in other games. i will leave the crash logs below, god speed.

Hi Dolokhov

Take a look if you want at this post that I created yesterday

https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Summary-list-on-HOW-TO-FIX-the-random-crashes-in-Battlefi...

It summaries the most relevant fixes for the crash issue.i had the same problem too and I fixed it with one of the solutions proposed.

If you find that one of the solutions help you resolve your problem, and I really hope so,please mention with a reply which one was it in order to help the devs fix these crashes once and for all

Best regards
Snake Eyes

With DLSS, it crashes to desktop but not without it. With DXR, it randomly stutters for second but not without it. New BFV update and Nvidia drivers did not solve problems.

I have a GTX 1060, no way it has DLSS.

Not sure why this issue has been deemed SOLVED when it hasnt been. Solved neither by the OP or myself.

This has continued from Battlefield 1. I get DX crashes almost every time I play either game. Very annoying to say the least! I tried every fix mentioned I could find anywhere on the web. This crash happens whether components are overclocked or running stock speeds, including BIOS at default. I tried every possible driver I could. Both games continue to crash with DX error. This issue began with the release of BF1.

In Battlefield V, it doesnt matter whether running SLI or single card, I still get the error. Funny that my GTX580 3GB has never crashed during Battlefield 1 gameplay.

I swapped out the GTX680 cards and put them in an X58 i7-960 system, and I get exact same crashes. So I beleive it is safe to assume it isnt my X79 system causing the issues. As I said, in BFV, it will crash whether I am running SLI or single card during game play.

And speaking of SLI, whos braindead idea was it to not add code SLI for BFV? Was this on nvidia's end or EA/Dice's, or both? SLI works perfect in BFV. Not sure why the code wasnt included in drivers/game code.

Yes, my GTX680s are old. But hey, they crush both BF1 and BF5 at ULTRA settings and 1920X1080 rez.

So, please tell us who is at fault; nvidia or EA/Dice. Please fix this problem.

I am hoping there is going to be an actual solution. The proposed solution(s) in this forum and the others only run a person in circles. This is a wide spread issue. Not sure why it is not being addressed.

My sys specs:

mobo: Asus RIVF (tried several different BIOS versions with no luck)

CPU: i7-3930K @ 4300mhz

MEM: Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4-2400mhz @ 2200mhz

GPU: EVGA GTX680 4GB 2-way SLI @ 1175/1700

SSD; Corsair Neutron 240GB

PSU: Corsair AX1200i

Win7 Pro 64

Custom Water cooling on CPU and GPUs, so heat isnt the issue.

Todays 4/4/2019 update fixed the crashing to desktop with DLSS, but 1 second stutters still occur with DXR. It seems to happen more than once early in the match. I meet PC requirements.
