Heirloom shard update

When the heirloom shards came out, I was worried that my 257 packs opened would not count after the shard update. Does it still count my 257 out of 500? I hope I did not waste my 140$ for this

Don't worry, your heirloom count hasn't reset by this update 
243 left or who knows, maybe you get lucky and get that > -1% chance.
