Heirloom animation but no heirloom )-:

The other day I went to open my apex pack and it showed the animation for an heirloom pack but when it opened it was all common items )-: Has anyone else had this occur and will EA assist me with getting the heirloom shards onto my account? 

P.S I was planning on contacting support in the morning but thought I'd check here too.
