Heirloom Shards Lost during Disconnection

I have been playing Apex Legends for 4 years now. Throughout the past 2 days I have been battling through the connectivity issues to keep playing to rank up and achieve rewards. Yesterday I received an apex pack that contained “heirloom shards” before connecting to a new game. Again, I was disconnected and forced to restart the game. When I came back I saw my heirloom shards had been removed. I contacted EA customer service about it where they said “there is nothing we can do at this time”. If there’s any help whatsoever it would be greatly appreciated.
