HOTAS analogue thumbstick not navigating comm & targeting menus

Gday all,

Im playing on a T16000M FCS Flight pack HOTAS. Ive bound buttons to bring up Comm and Targeting menus and have bound the analogue thumbstick on the TWSC Throttle to navigate the menus:

Menu Right - X-Axis Right
Menu Left - X-Axis Left
Menu Up - Y-Axis Up
Menu Down - Y-Axis Down

... however when using the menus i can only use the right, left, up, down options (not top right, top left, bottom right bottom left).

Essentially the analogue thumbstick ISNT acting like an analogue input, but a digital, limiting how I can use the menu.

Using mouse & keyboard, the mouse navigates the menus fine.
Using a controller, the thumbsticks navigate the menus fine.

Even if i rebind navigating the menus to my JOYSTICK axis - they only use up, down, left, right - like the throttle analogue thumbstick, essentially acting digital

Anyone know whats going on?
Or is it a limitation of the game on HOTAS??
