Grand arena mod lock bug

I prepared my characters for this GAC. Then five hours after the lock I changed the mods for participating in the raids. After that I wanted to set my defense squads and found that the changes I made for the raids affected my characters on GAC. So this GAC I am playing with some of my key characters missing some mods or without mods at all. For example my darth revan is without all mods and jedi revan is missing two mods. I made mod changes five hours after the lock. Why were they changed on GAC?
