Google play promotion rey

I redeemed a $10 Google play card today. Google play prompted me to click their provided link to open SWGOH and redeem the Rey shards and bonus crystals. The game froze on the Disney/Lucasfilm screen. I closed the game and tried to open it through the home icon. The game opened to a blank white screen. I repeated this several times, always with the same white screen. I restarted my phone and was successful in opening SWGOH, but my SWGOH account does not reflect that I successfully redeemed the promotion. My Google play account does indicate that I successfully redeemed the promotion. I contacted Google and they said to contact EA.

How do I claim my promotion that is currently floating around in cyberspace?

They can try to refresh the purchase/redemption which should hopefully make the content show up for you.
