Goalkeeper career mode positioning

I play a player career mode as a goalkeeper and I can't seem to stay in position, when my team is on the attack. The little Green circle dissappears and even when holding down L1 (the button that keeps your player in position) I still get low ratings because I am out of position several times during games. Anyone elso got this problem? And does anyone know a fix?
