Gear dissapeared

Im saving up gear for particular toons, in this case mk3 carbanti's.  Before bed last night I had around 98, but this morning i had close to 45.  I called EA and they said I spent 53 recently.  53 is not an amount I can spend. They are only used in groups of 50.

I thought that I may have accidentally spent them, but the only other toons I've been upgrading have not required carbanti's. Also, the amount of 53 does not make sense as it is not possible for me to use that amount at one time.

I believe this to be a glitch or bug.
