Game won't load after updating Android

SWGOH won't load after updating Android to 8.1.0 yesterday. It hangs on either the splash screen or the loading screen that immediately follows that.

I keep getting connection errors as well. Did a reinstall and I finally made it past the splash screen only to be met with constant crashes and "There is an error with your connection" even though it's updating.

Yea I keep getting error code 104. Seems to be an issue with the update.
