Game won't launch, Origin Launcher minimizes and then reappears.

I recently installed Battlefront 2, literally 10 minutes ago. Tried to launch the game. Origin minimizes for 3 seconds, and then comes back up. Game never launches. No black screen, no crashing, nothing at all.

Updated Windows and its drivers

Updated nVidia drivers

Ran in administrator mode

Deleted the .exes for the game and then ran repair.

Deleted the STAR WARS folder in My Documents and repaired.

None of these things have worked. I am confused an irritated.

Hey @Rokooon 

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the game 

Could you also make sure that no background applications are running when you launch SWB2? I'd suggest to temporarily turn off the antivirus (especially if you're using a free software like AVG) since it's quite often the culprit in such situations. 

Could you also check in the Task Manager if you can see a process running for Star Wars Battlefront II?

What I did was, close every item on the system tray, excluding Origin. I don't run any anti-virus software currently, and doing this still presented the same result with SWBF2; I would hit "Play" and then the Origin window would minimize and then bring itself back up, with nothing else. There is no SWBF2 process anywhere in Task Manager neither prior to launching nor after the Origin window is brought back up to the screen.
