Game will not install (streaming or not) [ Edited ]

I've been reviewing forms and reddit posts regarding error 310 while on SSN and game stuck at 0% with the streaming version. I cant get the game to work. I've tried everything including changing my host file, firewall and anti virus, switching between ssn and streaming, starting bittrader manually, messing with the launcher settings, uninstalled the launcher and reinstalling it. I've run out of troubleshooting tips online and I am coming here for help.

Nothing has worked.

There is a more definitive way to tell if this is a local issue , if you ensure the launcher is set as non streaming ie bitraider disabled 

noting you originally said you could downlaod http://cdn-patch.swtor.com/patch/assets_swtor_main/assets_swtor_main_304to305.solidpkg this is the same download location so if that link worked the other should of as well.

boot that computer up into safe mode with networking and then try to patch see if the download works.

or you can first try a clean boot within normal boot but the antivirus and firewall will likely still interfere hence safe mode is more definitive

anything special about your internet / modem and what antivirus are you using ?

it downloaded an assets file. I opened my ports yesterday through ATT and I am using TotalAV as an anti-virus.

btw this is a new install of the game

@proxos666 already tried doing all that multiple times. Ive even called support for swtor and they were unable to help me besides say "tell ur internet provider to open ur ports..." I already did that and still nothing worked.

when I do that it says, "downloading English video 1 1.68 gb remaining" and then it says ontop "network error 310"

Issue looks like the cdn

make sure there are no swtor entires in the host file, now the cdn are geodns so changing dns server should change the ip address for the cdn itself try using 8.8.8.8 as a dns server

If you click http://cdn-patch.swtor.com/patch/movies_en_us/movies_en_us_-1to0/movies_en_us_-1to0.z01 in your web browser does it start to download ? if it does in the webbrowser it is highly likely the antivirus or firewall stopping the launcher from downloading
