Black Screen and Loading Screen Freeze. [ Edited ]

Summarize your bug I either get a black screen on startup or get to see the actual loading screen stays in a infinite loop and does nothing or the game crashes to the desktop.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 12/17/2019
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM)  after update around 11:30am
In what game mode did the bug occur? occurs at startup
What is your time zone? ET
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? / Happens when you start the application..
What happens when the bug occurs? /  Blank screen or celebration loading screen forever...
What do you expect to see? Blank loading screen or the new celebration loading screen in a infinite state or a crash back to the desktop.

Same problem as first poster, after the 12-17-19 update... I ran the repair option (more than once), I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I even checked drivers... when attempting to start the application, it either stays blank and loads forever or, I get the new celebration loading screen that loads up and then after a long while, it crashes.

@Baadluck13 wont work again for me after i close the game, and try to open it up again. Still need to do the same method as @11LAK11

sadly doing dx12 on this game is a workaround, not a fix

imo this game runs better on dx11 than 12.

@EA_Atic hopefully some fix will come soon?

Glad I am not the only having this issue. The DX12 workaround helps, but EA/Dice needs to patch that.

Nope, the run as administrator (Origin and Battlefront 2) isn't working for me.  Also tried deleting the settings folder, with no luck.  Guess I'll have to wait for the fix (if they release one)
