Game stuck on "Checking for Update".

I can't get past this screen. I rebooting the app and my phone but still no resolution.

Any advice?

Mine's doing the same thing on my Samsung Tab S4 and on Bluestacks. Works fine on my iphone though.

Me too...sometimes it’ll get past that part but get stuck on another section. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, but nothing is working. My clan prob wants to boot me soon...very frustrating

I'm able to get past the screen, but it's often taking ~5 minutes to do so. This started Friday for me and has been happening all day, with no apparent change in load time on any other app.

An update: it's now Tuesday, and this has been happening constantly since Friday. It's making it very difficult to play the game.
