Game returns to war story menu at cut screen of lady falling from rocks

Summarize your bug At the moment the wind grabs the letter and the lady falls of the rocks, the game blacks to load in the cut screen, but instead what happens is I get returned to the war story menu. Then when I restart the war story, it just shows the loading screen for a while, and then returns to the war story menu.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play until the lady falls off the cliff. Then try resuming this story.
What happens when the bug occurs? Screen blackens, then returns to the war story menu.
What should be happening instead? Game should continue with cutscreen.

1. Nordlys mission when in storm, chasing satchel you get to the scene where she slips and snatches satchel, it's supposed to go to cutscene where she falls in frozen lake. Instead it either locks up and turns off game completely, or forces me back to main menu. Either way I cannot finish that mission and its annoying as Hell.

Summarize your bug During the Nordlys warstory, BF V crashes when cinematic plays of Solveig falling into water after recovering the dossier.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Progress through the Nordlys warstory and attempt to recover the dossier. Crash occurs at beginning of cinematic where Solveig falls into the river.
What happens when the bug occurs? As soon as Solveig hits the water in the cinematic scene, BF V freezes and crashes to the Xbox dashboard.
What should be happening instead? Continuation of the cinematic and the warstory.

Every time I try to progress through Nordlys, the game keeps crashing at the cinematic of Solveig falling into the river after catching the dossier. Platform I play on is the Xbox One S if that helps any.

A month later and still no response. This is the end of my EA Origin subscription ;-)

I apologize we missed your post after repeated bumps. Don't hesitate to tag a Community Manager in a reply if you fail to get any responses from CM's or the community. 

Have you tried anything to fix this at all, such as a reinstall of the game or repairing the game files? (Right-click on BFV in Origin)

I'm having exactly the same problem on PC.

Windows has been updated to build 18362 (newest), Nvidia driver 431.60

My system specs are the following:

I7 - 7700K

16gb corsair vengeance 3200mhz

MSI GTX 1070

I am running on 2560x1080 resolution (ultrawide)

Things that have been tried:

- DirectX11 and DirectX12

- Disabling game mode in windows

- Bringing down quality settings

The game keeps returning to main menu for some reason...

My system is not overclocked

If anyone has any ideas, please share them
