Game randomly gets stuck on launch splash screen

When starting the game sometimes it will get stuck on the launch splash screen and it will never progress in game until I "repair" the game however that's not a permanent solution since it seems to break after a certain amount of time. This is on the deluxe edition of the game through Origin Access. Also there is no way to get rid of the splash screen once it pops up so I have to restart my PC to get it to go away.

Please try these steps:

• Right click the game in Origin and then Repair
• Temporarily disable your antivirus/malware software
• Perform a clean boot before starting the game: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 or http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

I've tried all of that but repairing it is the only way to fix it temporarily. For example yesterday I repaired it and it worked all day. However this morning it wouldn't launch at all. It seems random because I tried it just now and it launched just fine. Maybe I should try reinstalling Origin? I've tried reinstalling the game on different drives and everything.

I too have this difficulty, will there be a patch on this? I have also tried the afore mentioned fixes...

This still happens to me from time to time and I noticed when this happens it makes a crash log in the folder \AppData\Local\SwGame\Saved\Config\CrashReportClient. This is what the file says

I installed the sysinternals process explorer

and was able to kill the fallen order process.

After that the splash screen disappeared and I was able to launch the game.

No reboot and no repair required :-)

Yeah, theres a workaround thats easy. Click the splash screen and press ALT+F4 and it will launch.
