Hi,
I got the game last month. I could play the game then.
Recently, i did a windows reset, after which i had to download the game files again.
The game won't launch now. I've already tried repairing the game files.
When I launch the game it shows up in the task manager for a few seconds and then disappears.
Please note specs are not a problem as I could run the game before.
Solved! Go to Solution.

UPDATE : It's fixed.
I had origin installed on my :F drive previously. The reset must have somehow messed it.
I reinstalled origin on :C and now it launches.
Thanks for the help.

Can you post your DXDiag:

What kind of windows reset? The built-in reinstallation?
Does your old \Documents\Plants vs Zombies GW2 folder still exist from previously? Try rename (or delete) that folder in Documents, this will reset settings to default.

Here is the DXDiag : http://hastebin.com/icuzuqetud.tex
Yes, the built in re-installation.
That folder did exist, I deleted it and tried launching game. Still won't open.

Windows is not fully updated it is still on TH1 , are there further windows updates available to you ?
Ensure the nvidia is selected as the card to run the game , in the nvidia control panel find the pvz profile and ensure the nvidia card is selected, it maybe also be worth dropping back to nvidia 355.98 driver as a test and see if any change as well.

Is this how you forced the 860m to work?

nVidia Control Panel -> 3D Settings -> Program Settings -> Add Program (PvZ:GW2) -> High Performance Processor
Also set your DPI settings to 100% (currently it looks like it's at 125%)

Restart or relog to take effect

No, as far as I can remember, nvidia settings were on auto detect. Besides I already tried high performance with no result.
Also, scaling down did not work. though that was always 125%.
