Game messed up my monitor screen

Whenever I exit the game, it will appear as a black screen for a few seconds before returning to my desktop main page. But the thing is, the monitor seems to be a bit brighter and my mouse has noticeably slowed down. This game has officially messed up my monitor, and I don't know how to fix it. Does anyone know how?

Ok, so um... turns out I had my resolution in the Ultra HD, HD and SD in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Setting 1920x1080 in the PC section fixed it. Thank you so much for helping me, sorry for wasting your time.

Check the native height and width and height and width settings in the client_setting file found per this link that all 4 are correct

Is the native meant to be 2517x1527? My monitor is 1920x1080.

I've set the native height and width and height and width settings to 1920x1080, still happens when I exit the game. Just the add on, the bug doesn't happen when I am in the game. My desktop appears to be normal when I tab out of it.

after the game starts , try using alt+enter to force to window mode and see if it behaves

I think you don't get what I mean, the game is working perfectly fine. It's just that when I exit it, it changes my monitor display and slows down my PC. There is no way to turn it back to normal other than having the game running in the background.

Yep understand did alt + enter have any affect after the game is started and if you close the game after switching it to window mode after using alt+enter

Nope, didn't work. Desktop still weird and mouse still slow.

Ok just to be sure it was alt+enter that switched the game to window mode not by changing the setting ingame with the preferences ?

does the monitor resolution look correct in the windows settings ? example Link

My PC resolution is 1920x1080, but after exiting the game the screen is whiter and slower than usual. Yes, I did switch the game to Windowed using alt+enter.
