Game launching broken after last Windows update [ Edited ]

Hi,

after recent Windows update my game is not launching.

Application's icon appears, screen is black and after 1-2 seconds application crashes without any information or message provided. Nothing changed on PC except that after previous play I've updated Windows using Windows Update.

I've tried to reinstall the game, restart computer, etc., but nothing works

However, after starting game and changing settings to use DirectX, game crashes again.

Hey, @Tom3k7, Thanks for the detailed report and updates!  

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with SWBF2 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.
