Game froze during Lord Vader event

During the start of the Lord Vader phase 6 event, my game froze in the opening when Obi-Wan is talking. I tried waiting and disconnecting and reconnecting my wifi but nothing happened. Attached is a screenshot. I spent at least 400 crystals with energy refreshes. I contacted the in-game help but instead of helping, they just said they can't give the dark side GL currency. What can be done to help resolve my issue?

Same here. Only on the first level. It froze up once after anakin and the clones beat the droids. Then it says “final encounter” and the next level never comes up. Waste of 30 dark side tokens

Same here, freeze in first level between first and second fight. Lost 45 tickets.
