Pretty sure it's the whole 6xxx series of AMD cpus. I get the same issue with the 6100.

Hello, I am also having this problem! Last disconnect was at around 3pm 2/9/2019. It would be nice if a community manager could put out a statement, i found it pretty disappointing to be seemingly alone in the error. Thank you!

I have the exact issue described. I have same CPU as well AMD FX-6300.
I can run the game at 2560 x 1080 21.9 aspect ratio at 80 to 85 FPS. The game is running along fine and I get Frozen screen. It normally comes back and I can look with mouse but can't move. 5 seconds later I get the disconnect error. It used to be only in option menus but now can happen anytime. It happens after few mins of launching Apex after I spend 5 mins or so in the options or on ready screen. Today it started to occur during matches. Always ends in disconnect from match.
Could it be the number of cores [6] being the root issue? Has anyone tried to only use 4? I think you can force Windows to report and only use 1, 2, 4, or 6 in the case of AMD FX-6300..

@THC_QuakeMe2 I just had the same thought!
I went to task manager and tried to change task affinity, but it wouldnt let me for some reason, even with admin privileges.
So I went ahead and disabled 2 of my cores in BIOS. Will update you how it goes!

Same. Probably 25% of the time I slide, the game freezes and I have to force close it. Super annoying.

Win10 Home 1803, though 1809 finally decided it was my time, so maybe tomorrow it will be better?

I have an FX-6100 and I tried your method of disabling cores 5 & 6 after hours of trying various things and it fixed all of my issues and now the game runs better than it did before I could even play without crashing.
I recommend everyone try disabling the 5th and 6th cores as at least a last ditch effort,

Alright, I have played for 2 hours without getting disconnected, in menu or the game itself. I don't want to jump the gun and say this is a fix, but if you have an FX-6xxx series processor, it might be worth it to try and go into bios and turn off two of your cpu' s cores.
Unless I am an idiot and they already rolled out a fix and that is why noone has posted in this thread in 2 hours : - D
