Game freezes after new mid-season update (Lobby)

@deadlyKuba It doesn't fix anything tho. It's just a bandage. And a lot of people won't have a clue what any of that is.

If people need their settings to be as low as possible, then this isn't a fix. Perhaps take 5 mins to think before posting nonsense.

your right it's just a bandage and yes it messes my fps up aswell but at least its something and yes this should have been already fixed since everyone was talking about it and yes some wont know what this means but I have spend a whole week trying to find something countless hours that led to me still crashing so sorry that maybe after a whole week of trying to find a solution im not so keen on explaining every detail to everyone

Having the same issue since the tiny patch that came through last week or so?

There was another today and it's still the same...

My PC (i5 4460 + 16GB RAM + AMD MSI Armour RX580 8G)

Windows is up to date (Win10)

My GPU driver is up to date.

I've repaired the game, run the game and the EA client as admin, removed my GPU OC, I've turned off Riva Tuner, tried different ISP's and DNS settings, turned off my windows defender and firewall...

Nothing works...

I get into the game it will freeze in the lobby, I will have to force close it from task manager.

If I get into a match it will freeze when I choose a character or when I exit the match.

All while every other game works (Fortnite + OW2) and my husband's PC next to mine works mostly fine (R5 3600 + 16GB RAM + 1660 Super)

FIX CONFIRMED

Changed config file within windows user apex folder to these settings and it checked out.

Will the season be extended or the quads event given the fact a lot of us have now been unable to play for over two weeks for what should of been an easy fix ?

@Photograph_EA how there is no new updates yet about this. LET US PLAY PLEASE. its so annoying with the drop fps and freezing a lot. are we meant to stop playing?

Tbh I just dont play the game lol. Easier to not get stressed out over Apex and just play something else until its fixed (if it is ever fixed lol)

Apex crashing in lobby I open my game wait max 10 seconds in lobby and the game will always crash without any error message
