I downloaded the update last week and since then i haven't been able to play the game as it randomly freezes after 2-30 seconds on the main menu.
Is respawn even aware of this? On their trello page it's not even listed as one of the problems they're investigating, unlike the audio bug on quads, which is a recent problem.
I have read multiple post both on reddit and on the steam discussions, i have tried any possible fix given, and they do not work, at this point i won't be palying this event at all.

I'm here with all these lovely players also having the same issue, a full week unable to start the game, yesterday i connected to a match where I lived for 15 seconds after drop because my fps got an all time low at 3 (My computer is not very powerful but mostly i get a solid 60 - 80 fps) and my ping was at an all time high peaking at 890 instead of my regular 35-60ping.
I tried every regular "my game isn't working" fix, driver update, full integrity, re-install, drop settings (the one time it didn't crash on first lobby) and funny enough, after doing all of this it doesn't only just crash, now it gives me a nice BSOD with a Video TDR failure which is new for me. The gaame not working properly happens to me every patch week but usually starts working properly in a few days, this is the worst it's ever gotten in my 2 and a half years of playing. I'm sure the folks at Respawn are aware of this and instead of pushing for better servers we got hit by a 4th useless currency.
If you guys are trying to kill the game you're on the right path.

@EA_Mari thanks for letting us know. How is it possible that it takes your colleagues over a week to 1)realize that there is an issue and 2)acknowledge that there is an issue and letting your customers know that it is being worked on? I work for a mid-sized SaaS company - if it would take our customer support teams this long, their would be consequences. One would expect a company such as EA to be run by professionals. My impression is that it is run by amateurs.

Is there any ETA on this fix? It's been over a week since the patch. Marked as solution, but there isn't even a fix insight.

What makes it worse is that we have no idea what's truly causing it especially when this season has caused alot of people to get heavy lag, high cpu usage on pc, and starvation. Like please tell us what's going on if you know.
