Game freeze after getting to the drop ship in every game

did you try downloading an older version of origin? maybe it's the latest version causing this

Issue started March 9th around 7pm EST.

No prior issues with this bug.

Happens every launch, computer will not shut down afterwords.

Cannot kill r5apex.exe through task manager, taskkill, and wmic do not kill process

reinstall does not fix problem

reinstalling on separate HD does not fix problem

windowed mode does not fix problem

updating drivers does not fix problem

I reinstalled, deleted all my config files, still crashing.  I tried on my laptop and it's working fine on the GTX1060 on it, so it's not account related, so definitely something up with either my PCs configuration/drivers and the game, just don't know what the problem is.  Playing COD Warzone  now and no freezing.

@Aneurotic Same, I have two desktops in my office. Game works fine on one computer and not on the other. Started yesterday on the one that's not working. It worked fine before yesterday. Both PCs are plugged into the same router. Also, it doesnt matter which Apex account I use on the computer that freezes. It freezes across acounts. So it's not account specific.

I just updated Windows and started up Apex again.
It let me jump out of the ship this time around, but it froze right after that. I did this a couple more times but it kept freezing at the countdown after that.
I talked to multiple people at EA and nothing seems to work. I think by this time we just have to sit and wait for them to figure out what it is since it is affecting way more people now than yesterday. Sorry lads.

it's pretty much in every game mode beside the firing range and the tutorial..

@EA_Kent It happened during all the game modes EXCEPT the practice range. Whenever you have to drop out of the dropship this error will occur.
