Oh damn it finnaly a fix that worked for me! Thanks alot mate!

Seems like when you get the "Error: A redistributable package (DirectX) was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue. (4294967287)" error it will not install these files. Used a fix to make sure I can install games (Deleting the distrubet packages since even with Window defender and Virus program disable I couldnt install due to the Error message) but then it wont install the DLL files need obviously. 

Had given up on this game with my new setup!

It is really sad that so much still is missing from this game preventing people from playing unless you try all kinds of stuff yourself. It isn't our job to fix the game, it should be presented in a workable form. But then some would say if you don't like the way it is, you can go play something else.

I'm trying to run Apex on my work laptop, it's managed, but not too onerously.

I'm having the same problem as everyone here; the EAC banner loads, but then it fails.

Drudging through the event viewer, it seems EAC installed its self as a service at run time, then fairly quickly unloads. There were also "The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this machine" errors in the Authentication log that correlate to the times EAC closed. These were raised for the Guest account (I actually had other errors, because the guest account was disabled, but re-enabling it fixed those).

After all the investigation (and trying to enable most log on types for Guest), I was unable to get it to work. But that could be because of the manged-ness of this computer.

Putting some DLL's on you PC is just a workaround for the real issue, not being able to install DirectX. This is a problem with your system, not with any games or with EA.

I just got my DirectX installation issue fixed, and can now (re-)install Origin Games without errors, by using this tool once:

yes iits easy to fix the launch issue -

try these-

1. uninstall origin if you've already installed

   running ccleaner and then the registry tool.

2. run ccleaner and then open registry tool , scan for issue, fix the issue 

3.install origin app again and run the game

W8, but what CPU and Socket do you have? it Fixes the old 775 socket CPU's???

I may have found a solution(it worked for me), 
1. Close origin. (simply Quit Origin)

2. Go to your install location of Apex.

3. Right click on EasyAntiCheat_Launcher and Run as Administrator.

4. You should see EAC banner load then disappear, Origin should start connection and you will see EAC Banner once again then the game should load.
