Yes, I update my computer regularly.

NO, I am not updating my video card for your bug fixes to work. I have a GTX 1070 and not planning to upgrade soon, so no DX12.

Updating and repairing the game via Origin has done the trick, but it isn't consistent. You may have to restart your computer, update and repair the game a couple of times before it lets you play.
