Game crashes when trying to enter online mode

When i press Play Online the game loads for about 30% of the loading bar and then crashes without any error message. The solo mode works fine though. I have no clue what to do to fix this .

@Daddy_Shroood Hi, can we check what platform you're on? Have you been able to play online before? Do you play any other online games, especially ones from EA?
